Question: Are you currectly employed?
Answer: Yes I am. I have been working for Hewlett-Packard Software since 2006. I am a full time status.
Question: Can you provide AJAX code and/or services?
Answer: Yes I can. I typically use Jquery, Mootools, and Spry. But I am not limited to these a javascript libraries
Question: Can you build a Web 2.0 website?
Answer: I am a front end web developer. From a front end stand point I can provide all the code needed to faciliate a web 2.0 experience. I can install Joomla and Drupal content management systems (CMS's) which stand firmly in the Web 2.0 camp.
Question: How many years experience do you have?
Answer: I have been building websites since 1999.
Question: How much experience do you have with CSS?
Answer: I have been using Cascading Style Sheets since 2004. CSS is absolutely essential in modern webpages.
Question: When do you use tables as opposed to divs?
Answer: There seems to be a popular movement against tables. I support this cause. I never use tables for layout. I use divs for all structural elements in a page. I may use tables for tabular data.
Question: How and why do you validate your pages?
Answers: Page validation is an important to make certain that pages do not have critical errors. I use the dreamweaver software validator. The W3C online validator is very useful as well.
Question: Do you code by hand or a WYSIWYG editor? If so which editor(s) do you use?
Answer: I do both. Typically, I code by hand. however, I find the wysiwyg editor adds too much code. I use Notepad++ and Dreamweaver. I like dreamweaver for the ftp, check in an checkout, and code validation features. Notepad is great because it starts up very fast and is very light.
Question: Do you have experience with analytics software?
Answer: Yes I install Google Analytics on all web projects. I find analytics to be essential. Without analytics there is no good way of measuring return on investment.
